Will my dog be fed?
We recommend you feed your dog as early as possible prior to them being brought to us, we recommend 2 hours if possible. Doing this will ensure they will not need another meal until they return home, and also prevent them from bloating. If your dog or puppy does require feeding during the day, please bring with you the desired amount and an appropriate time of feeding and we will do this for you. Fresh water will be available to your dog at all times and are regularly cleaned several times per day.
What happens if my dog becomes sick or injured?
You will be notified immediately with the emergency contact details provided, we carry a professional first aid kit on the premises but in the case of medical emergency your dog will be taken to our local vet and all medical costs must be assumed by the dog’s owner.
Preparing your dog for daycare?
If possible, feeding your dog 2 hours before arrival will ensure their food has been properly digested, preventing the risk of bloating from excitement. A short walk to empty their bladder will prevent any excited ‘accidents’ on arrival.
Are the dogs ever left unsupervised?
No, a member or members of staff are always present on the daycare premises.
Are there any risks?
There are inherent risks associated with a free play dog daycare, however our staff are trained to see and notice potential conflicts and deal with them appropriately. We have means of separation that does NOT include crating, small time out comfortable areas are available and room partitioning if necessary.
What time can I drop and pick up my dog?
You can drop your dog off between 8am – 9am and they must be picked up by 6pm. Please refer to our ‘Drop off’s, Pick ups and Prices’ for more information. If your requirements differ, please contact us to discuss further.
Do I need to bring anything?
Not at all, toys suitable for all sizes will be available, fresh water is always available, beds and comfortable areas are provided. Just make sure your dog has a collar with contact details on. Please make sure your dog is on a lead at all times from leaving your vehicle to reaching our reception.
